What's going on with?

Hey everyone! Welcome to the home of Team XKalibur. We're really busy at the moment, getting things ready for Mythri development--so we're posting up some fun information for you until we can get our website up and running.

We'll be frequently updating here to reveal all the ways in which Mythri on the Gameboy Advance will differ from the original Gameboy Color prototype. If you enjoy this sort of insight--then have fun. If not--learn to enjoy this sort of insight.

* Storyline

While the plot itself isn't changing, we are upgrading the dialogue and text so that Mythri reflects our full story skills. Along with this come minor tweaks to certain scenes, the actual text spoken by characters, and three or four additional scenes not planned for the GBC version. We've carefully tuned the storyline to hopefully enthrall the player as well as surprise them.

* Graphics

With the jump from GBC to GBA, Mythri's graphics will obviously be given a complete redesign. Every element, from the background scenery to the characters themselves, will be recreated from the ground up. Below is an example taken from the forest of Milyn Twyloth--a sprawling area near the beginning of the game:

* Manga Stills

Mythri uses detailed hand-drawn pictures during key plot moments to flesh out its storyline. For the Gameboy Advance, all the manga stills are being retained, however many are being redrawn and they're all being recolored. The GBA's screen size also requires them to be enlarged or expanded to fit the screen. Below is an example of this change, and the dramatic difference between the two games:

We'll be back soon to give you more examples of exactly how Mythri is improving, to provide you with an amazing RPG experience. Game carefully!
